Jordan Shewmaker

Jordan Shewmaker assists clients in all aspects of complex litigation from inception through final appeal. He has represented clients in state and federal courts across the country. His experience includes disputes related to administrative actions, breach of contract, constitutional issues, equine matters, financial services litigation, health care litigation, and product liability.

Jordan also assists clients with high-stakes government investigations, defense of white collar criminal matters, and sensitive internal investigations and compliance reviews. He has experience conducting multi-national investigations and has advised clients on compliance with state, federal, and international law regarding controlled substances, non-controlled medications, false claims and qui tam matters, and shipping and transportation regulations. Jordan has also represented clients in federal investigations and in federal criminal actions.

Jordan is a native of Perryville, Kentucky, but currently calls Louisville, Kentucky home. Before law school, Jordan served in several positions in state and local government and worked as Resource Development Director for Heart of Kentucky United Way in Danville, Kentucky.

Shawna Corman

Shawna Corman advises clients on a wide-variety of transactional issues, including business formation, corporate governance practices, trusts and estates, and commercial financing transactions. Additionally, Shawna works with an Atlanta-based firm in employee stock ownership planning (“ESOP”), which provides comprehensive legal services for ESOP-owned companies and selling shareholders across the nation.

Shawna is active in her community as she serves on the Board of Trustees of Transylvania University, a small liberal arts university in Lexington, Kentucky. Additionally, Shawna serves on the Central Bank & Trust Co. Advisory Board of Directors, which allows her to connect with community leaders and streamline conversations with clients and one of the leading banks in the state of Kentucky.

In addition to her work as an attorney, Shawna serves as a Trustee of the R.J. Corman Railroad Group. In this role, she has helped guide the senior management of the business in continued multi-generational success. Shawna utilizes this hands-on business experience when advising clients.
